Software Developer
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Node to join our team. You will be responsible for focusing on using bleeding edge technologies to develop and deliver a robust, scalable user experience for a core product in the financial services.
Your primary focus will be to work within the team to deliver scalable components, services and interfaces to support a new product and service in the review space. You will build reusable, testable and modular code.
As a communicator you will be collaborating daily within the team of developers and stakeholders to implement elegant solutions and deliver features through the product backlog product.
Responsibilities
- Technical experience, plus sound capability to provide sound solution design and implementations using Node and Express.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable services and modules.
- Build efficient modules leveraging the principle of loosely coupled microservice oriented architectures.
- Develop and maintain unit tests and liaise with QA on resolving issues around performance, features and regression.
- Develop solutions across a scalable SaaS platform in the Fintech space.
- Development of database stores and adopting of cache strategies.
- Transfer your knowledge and experience on technology and solutions within the team.
Skills And Qualifications
- Exceptional demonstrated experience in the Node and Express.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering secure, reliable, scalable and robust consumer facing web services and applications and services (SOA & Microservices).
- Experience designing and developing datastore schemas and strategies to represent and support business systems and processes.
- Experience working with relational and nosql databases including MongoDB & Aurora.
- Demonstrated experience working with application cache technologies including Redis and Memcache.
- Demonstrated experience with front end technologies (Angular, React) advantageous.
- Strong English communication skills both oral and written.
- Exceptional knowledge and skills working with GIT SCM.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Minimum 4+ years experience working in a commercial capacity within a corporate environment.
