Job Location : Current requirement is in Kathmandu, but can be anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements

Job Specification

Education Level : Bachelor

Experience Required : More than or equals to 6 years

Other Specification

Your Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Management, with specialization in Communication & Media Management.

• At least 6 years of media and marketing experience preferably with media or multinational organizations.

• Proven experience of handling Media Houses of Nepal.

Job Description

Department: Commercial

Unit: Corporate Communication

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Main Responsibility Areas:

• Develop deep relationships with key industry editors, media personnel and journalist to maximize the quality and frequency of exposure consistent with company goals and objectives
• Drive, monitor and react to traffic, engagement and conversations online including potential reputational crisis
• Support to develop the overall Corporate Communications strategy, and help execute and manage all communications (internal and external) in Ncell to ensure positive corporate image among internal and external stakeholders
• Develop sustainability and annual reports as and when required.
• Develop and manage CSR initiatives to deliver a strong CSR brand in Nepal.
• Understand Business Focus Areas and requirements, and give recommendations from Corporate Communications point of view enabling organization to deliver its planned objectives
• Get updated with latest information linked to Ncell, and regularly recommend and guide Business Units ensuring organizational objectives are achieved
• In close coordination with Business Units, understand requirements from Corporate Communications and contribute towards the same enabling them to attain their planned objectives
• Help to direct and supervise all external and internal communication ensuring a positive corporate image
• Support the CCO to review and update external and internal communication policy in line with Management and Group Guidelines
• Help to plan and direct external and internal communication channel and methods for effective information transmission in line with business requirements
• Ensure management of intranet in liaison with IT, and update information on Intranet in coordination with Business Units, ensuring effective communication within the company
• Ensure initializing and writing company news to be published in the external press and within Ncell ensuring effective communication and positive corporate image
• Support the MD who is the primary interface of the company to manage media relations
• Support in all internal and external communication-related tasks assigned by CCO from time to time
• Forge collaborative dialogue with media houses ensuring a good rapport with Ncell
• Contribute and lead cross-functional project teams providing strategic inputs to ensure positive corporate image
• Attend cross-functional meetings to understand internal customers’ requirements at a broad level and plan strategies ensuring effective service delivery from Corporate Communication perspectives
• Regularly review planned performance in line with agreed KPIs, and provide guidance and directions to all the reporting colleagues ensuring departmental objectives are met
• Build the capabilities of team members and ensure adequate training and guidance to direct their work activities to achieve the company’s goals
• Help ensure smart spending, zero-based budgeting and revenue focused planning in Corporate Communication vertical
