Caritas Nepal, a leading national NGO, invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for Caritas Nepal Doti Office. The project is focused on implementation of Livelihood activities of “Strengthening Community Resilience Program in Sudurpachim Province” at field level and ensuring the activities are delivered on time and to the desired standard as outlined in the project plan and timetable. The contract will be for Initially 1 year with possibility of further extension.

Requirements
> B.Sc, in Agriculture.
> 2 years of experience in disaster preparedness/risk reduction and livelihood field.
> Experience of working in the hill area of far west Nepal and is acquainted with the local context.
> Excellent command of spoken of local language
> Good social mobilization, motivation and community sensitization skills
> Knowledge in on farm and off farm enterprise development
> Strong planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills
> Takes initiatives.
> Acts as a team player and facilitates teamwork
> Good interpersonal communication skills
> Excellent verbal communication/facilitation skills
> Ability to work independently and under pressure
> Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relations with target communities and project team
> Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound judgement and decisions.
> Very good planning, coordination, monitoring and organizational skills.
> Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results oriented.
> Candidates from the project areas are preferred
> Local candidates will be given high preference.
