Position SummaryThe Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for supporting and strengthening the operational efficiency of KUMON Nepal. This role involves managing school operations, coordinating teams, ensuring curriculum quality, and executing strategic initiatives.This is a dynamic, field-oriented role requiring active engagement with schools, instructors, students, and internal teams. The position demands strong leadership, organizational capability, and adaptability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management & Team CoordinationOversee daily departmental operations and ensure smooth workflowCoordinate with Correction and FI Team Leaders for task management and performance trackingMonitor team productivity, discipline, and operational standardsIdentify operational gaps and recommend improvementsPrepare and present weekly operational reportsSchool Operations & Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with partner schools and stakeholdersCoordinate school-level activities such as:Instructor trainingParent engagement sessionsStudent development activitiesWorkshops and meetingsMonitor student progress, attendance, and instructor performanceCurriculum Oversight & Quality AssuranceEnsure proper implementation of the KUMON methodologyMonitor correction accuracy and student learning progressSupport training sessions for instructors and school staffAnalyze performance gaps and implement improvement plansField Visits & Program ImplementationConduct regular school visits and classroom observationsEvaluate teaching quality, study flow, and classroom managementProvide feedback and support to instructors and team leadersAssist in implementing growth and quality improvement plansStrategic Planning & Leadership SupportSupport the Head of Department in executing operational strategiesContribute insights in planning and decision-making processesAssist in team development, mentoring, and onboardingMarketing & Sales CollaborationCoordinate with marketing and sales teams for campaigns and school outreachSupport seminars, promotional events, and enrollment drivesAssist in handling inquiries and follow-upsHR & Administrative CoordinationSupport recruitment, onboarding, and staff coordinationAssist in scheduling and workforce planningCoordinate with finance for budgeting and operational expensesCommunication & ReportingMaintain communication with KUMON Japan and internal teamsPrepare reports, presentations, and documentationEnsure smooth coordination between schools, parents, and managementTraining & DevelopmentDuring the initial 6-month period, the candidate will undergo hands-on training across:Correction processesField instruction activitiesCurriculum implementationSchool operationsMarketing and sales coordinationWhy Join KUMON Nepal?Work with a globally recognized education systemOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in educationExposure to operations, leadership, and strategyDynamic and growth-oriented work environmentCollaboration with schools and international stakeholders
