In partnership with Islamic Relief Worldwide, RDC Nepalis starting a project on child protection inKatahariyaand Gujara Municipality of Rautahat district. RDC Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for successful implementation of the project.

S.N Positions Qualification Key Skills and Knowledge
1. Project Coordinator

(1- Nos.)

Master’s Degree in social science, development studies, gender studies, public health or relevant discipline
  • At least 2 years of working experience in field of child protection (Master’s degree holders) or at least 4 years of working experience in field of child protection (bachelor degree holders in relevant discipline)in similar position
  • Experience in developing, conducting training, workshops and community mobilization interventions
  • Experience of working with district level stakeholders on child protection
  • Demonstrated ability of leadership
  • Strong computer literacy and knowledge of database and spreadsheet
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, negotiation and communication skill
  • Fluency in Nepali and English communication and presentation skill (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadline
  • Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age diversity and Social Inclusion
  • Good analytical skills and innovative
  • Two-wheeler driving license (preferred)

2. Admin & Finance Officer

(1- Nos.)

Bachelor’s degree in Management
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in development organization in Admin/Finance role
  • Familiar with Nepali taxation rules and government compliance
  • Practical knowledge of office management including finance and admin tasks
  • Competency in using Microsoft office package, email and internet
  • Fluency in English and Nepali (verbal and written)
  • Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age- Diversity and Social inclusion
  • Proven experience on computerized accounting package Tally, FAMAS

3. Field Supervisor (2- Nos.) Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or in any relevant discipline
  • Relevant professional experience of two years or master’s degree in above field with at-least one year of relevant professional experience
  • Good understanding and experience of working in child protection issues
  • Experience in team mobilization and management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environment
  • Practical experience in facilitation and interaction with government counterpart/local stakeholders and community network
  • Strong analytical, writing, editing and communication skills
  • Fluency in speaking and written English and Nepali, fluency on local language preferred
  • Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age, Diversity and Social Inclusion
  • Have license for two-wheeler (preferred)

4. Community Mobilizers (Child Protection) (6- Nos.)- local resident preferred Intermediate degree in social sciences or in any relevant discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in community mobilization.
  • Good understanding of child protection issues
  • Demonstrated coordination skills with local stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skill in engaging community leaders, women groups, and children
  • Fluent in local language (verbal at least)
  • Fluency Nepali communication (both written and verbal) and English (at least understanding)
  • Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age Diversity and Social Inclusion
  • Good interpersonal skill
