We are seeking a Psychosocial Counselling Service Trainer to lead the capacity-building of frontline counsellors. This role focuses on the practical application of therapeutic techniques, ensuring that service providers are equipped to deliver high-quality, ethical, and clinical-grade counselling services in diverse settings.Key Responsibilities• Counselling Skills Training: Facilitate advanced workshops on individual and group counselling techniques, active listening, and therapeutic rapport building.
• Clinical Supervision: Provide technical mentorship and “case-side” supervision to junior counsellors to ensure service quality and ethical standards.
• Curriculum Design: Develop comprehensive training manuals focused on specialised counselling services, including grief, trauma, and crisis intervention.
• Standardisation: Ensure all counselling service protocols align with clinical benchmarks and the National Mental Health guidelines of Nepal.
Qualifications• Education: Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (M.Phil. preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching or formal training experience in a clinical or academic setting.
• Competencies: Deep mastery of CBT, IPT, or other evidence-based counselling modalities.
• Communication: Professional fluency in Nepali and English for both training delivery and documentation.
