Batas Foundation with support of Islamic Relief Australia and Nepal is starting a rehabilitation project named “LIFT-Safer, Healthier and more resilient communities” to be implemented in Naukunda Rural Municipality of Rasuwa. Hence, the project announces the vacancy for the following positions:
Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Naukunda RM, Rasuwa
Reporting Line: Program Manager
Qualification:
• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Sociology, Agriculture, Education or any relevant subject.
• 2+ years’ experience in handling similar integrated project based on the field.
• Fluency in English and Nepali Language (Tamang is an asset)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), outlook and social media applications.
• Reporting, communication and problem solving skills (required)
• Team management and financial control experience.
Position: Livelihood Officer
Location: Naukunda RM, Rasuwa
Reporting Line: Project Coordinator
Qualification:
• BachelorDegree in Agriculture or any relevant subject.
• 1 year experience in executing livelihood project /(Enthusiast fresher can be accepted)
• Fluency in English and Nepali Language (Tamang is an asset)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), outlook.
• Reporting, communication and problem solving skills (required)
• Dedication to stay on field and engage with local communities.
Position: Social Mobilizer (Education)
Location: Naukunda RM, Rasuwa
Reporting Line: Project Coordinator
Qualification:
• Bachelor Degree in any relevant subject with trainings on EP and DRR.
• 1 year experience in executing livelihood project /(Enthusiast fresher can be accepted)
• Fluency in English and Nepali Language (Tamang is an asset)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), outlook.
• Reporting, communication and problem solving skills (required)
• Dedication to stay on field and engage with local communities.
Position: Education Development (Jr.) Officer
Location Naukunda RM, Rasuwa
Reporting Line: Project Coordinator
Qualification
• Bachelor’sDegree in Education or any relevant subject.
• 1 years’ experience in community school setting / Enthusiast fresher may apply.
• Fluency in English and Nepali Language (Tamang is an asset)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), outlook.
• Reporting, communication and problem solving skills (required)
• Ability to deal with Head Teachers, School Management Committee, Parents Teacher Association and Child clubs.
Position: Civil Overseer
Location: Naukunda RM, Rasuwa
Reporting Line: Project Coordinator
Qualification:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with knowledge of Water and Sanitation.
• 1 year experience in executing water and livelihood assets construction project /(Enthusiast fresher can be accepted)
• Fluency in English and Nepali Language (Tamang is an asset)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), outlook.
• Reporting, communication and problem solving skills (required)
• Dedication to stay on field and engage with local communities.

Qualification::
• 10 + 2/ School Leaving Certificatecompleted
• 2+ years’ experience in community mobilization.
• Fluency in English and Nepali Language (Tamang is an asset)
• Community mobilization training. (asset but not mandatory)
• Communication and problem solving skills (required)
• Locals are highly preferred.
