Request for Applications (RFA) from local non-governmental organizations to conduct Journalist Interaction and School Awareness Support program in different districts around the country

Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East is a five-year program funded by the United StatesAgency for International Development (USAID) that supports national governments to reach their control and elimination goals for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) through proven, cost-effective public health interventions. The Act to End NTDs | East program provides critical support to countries in their journey to self-reliance, helping them to create sustainable NTD programming within robust and resilient health systems.

Act to End NTDs |East (2018-2023) is led by RTI International, with a consortium of partners includingThe Carter Center, Fred Hollows Foundation, IMA World Health, Light for the World, Results forDevelopment, Save the Children, Sightsavers, and WI-HER.

RTI is seeking a qualified non-governmental organization to conduct pre activities of Lymphatic Filariasis Mass Drugs Administration (LF MDA) in selected districts of Nepal. RTI intends to award two (2) Fixed Amount Award (FAA).

1) Journalist Interaction in 5 districts and School Awareness Support program in 4 districts (Act-East-RFP-FY19-PO3)and 2) Journalist Interaction in 8 districts and School Awareness Support program in 3 districts(Act-East-RFP-FY19-PO4). Qualification Criteria: Interested organizations should be legally registered in Nepal and have legal status to conduct activities throughout the country. Experience in conducting similar activities and experience working on USAID funded projects are preferred.

The RFA issuance date is 24 September 2019 and the closing date and time is 21 October 2019, 16:00 hours Nepal time
