We are looking for a senior PHP Developer, who will be responsible for using PHP/postgreSQL/CSS/HTML to maintain and enhance an existing enterprise application for a client based in the USA. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a US client with the possibility of traveling to the USA. As a Sr. Developer, you will help drive team(s) in meeting project objectives. You are expected to foster high performing technical teams. To qualify, you must have the following:
Required Skills
- At least 2+ years of experience programming in PHP with any standard framework like Laravel
- Excellent knowledge full stack – PHP, MySQL or PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working on complex software
- Experience writing quality code and adhering to coding standards
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
- Knowledge of web security
- Knowledge of Git or similar versioning system
- Ability to design and write unit tests
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Design, develop and enhance existing software applications.
- Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodology and techniques.
- Collaborate with business to define requirements and design detailed engineering solutions.
- Continuously self-educate and mentor team members in proper software engineering methods and techniques.
- Review software engineering approach to proposed solutions to ensure adherence to best practice.
