Trainee Associate (RTA/RTS Unit)

The primary function of the role is to assist the RTA/RTS clients and support senior associates for the smooth operation of the department. The role shall closely work with operation unit to ensure timely and complete recording, reconciliation and documentation relation to the RTA/RTS clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To facilitate during AGM/SGM.
  • To pledge/Un pledge of securities, Signature verification, securities split, Transfer of securities, Distribution of Bonus shares, certification, corporate actions, Re-materialization/Dematerialization of securities etc.
  • Assist the supervisor in various administrative works related to the RTA/RTS services.
  • Attend to client’s grievances and resolve client complaints promptly.
  • Report to designated supervisor on a day-to-day course of action regularly.
  • To compile all record & monthly reconciliation of Shareholder’s data with listed shares in PCS & CDSC software as well as reconciliation of cash dividends.
  • Report to designated supervisor on a day-to-day course of action regularly.
  • Build and improve strong relationship with prospective and existing clients.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties prescribed by unit head and management from time to time.

Minimum Qualification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or equivalent degree with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of Nepalese Capital Market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Nepali.
  • Sound skills in MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and team management skill.
  • Age not exceeding 25 years.
  • Prior experience in the related industry will be an added advantage.

Candidates should have:

  • Sound knowledge of Nepalese Capital Market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Nepali.
  • Sound skills in MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and team management skill.
