Vanessa Ponce de Leon (born 7 March 1992) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder who is crowned Miss World 2018.
Ponce was born and raised in the city of Guanajuato and grew up in the city of Mexico.
Ponce began her career as a contestant on cycle 5 of Mexico’s Next Top Model in 2014 while she won in the competition.
Ponce was crowned Miss World Mexico 2018 on 5 May 2018 at Salón Imperial de Villa Toscana, Sonora where 32 candidates competed for the national title by the outgoing Miss Mexico 2017 Andrea Meza. She is now Miss World 2018 she was crowned by the reigning queen Manushi Chhillar.
