Review guidelines
Short rules that keep reviews useful and fair for job seekers and employers.
What to write
- Your own experience: working at the company, or applying and interviewing there.
- Be specific and fair. What was good? What should change?
- One review per company per person.
What we remove
- Spam, copied text, adverts, and reviews that are not about your own experience.
- Personal attacks, abuse, and private details about a named person.
- Accusations of crimes. If something illegal happened, tell the authorities.
- Links, email addresses and phone numbers.
What we never do
- We never remove a review because it is negative.
- Companies cannot pay to remove, edit or hide a review.
- We never show who wrote a review. Email addresses are optional, and used only to stop duplicates and to contact a prize draw winner.
Replies from companies
A company can reply to a review. Write to [email protected] from your company email address and include the link to the review. We check that the message really comes from the company, then post your reply under the review, marked as the company's reply. A reply never removes or changes a review, and replies follow the same rules as reviews.
Report or dispute a review
If you think a review breaks these rules, write to [email protected] with the link to the page and what is wrong. A person reads every message. Reviews we cannot confirm as the writer's own experience may be taken down while we look.
