Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS)
Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS) is a non-profit making social organization that has been working to prevent, control and cure cancer in Nepal since last 34 years. Under preventive programs it conducts several awareness activities as well as cancer screening camps targeting the rural people to save their life from cancer through early detection. Under curative approach, NCRS is running Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital (a 110 bedded cancer hospital with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and palliative care with pain management services) as well as Lahan Cancer Care Center. NCRS has 42 district branches with approximately 16,000 volunteers nationwide.
