Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee the organization's financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, prepare financial reports, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in auditing, taxation, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Jobs and Responsibilities Under FP&AEvaluating use of working capital and comparing ROI against alternatives.
Assessing financial health through key financial ratios.
Identifying high-profit product lines and margin analysis.
Encouraging/promoting high-margin items.
Evaluating departmental cost efficiency.
Preparing budgets with departments and consolidating into an overall corporate budget.
Preparing internal reports for top management.
Maintaining financial models and forecasts.
Performing variance analysis against budgets.
Evaluating expansion/growth opportunities and capital investment planning.
Obtaining insurance rates, preparing comparisons and negotiating with insurance companies.
Preparing risk analysis and insurance necessity reports.
Coordinating with surveyors for claims and documentation.
Verifying plant & machinery for breakdown risk and reporting to Directors.
Following up for claim settlements with proper justification.
Reporting claim details to the Director.
Ensuring all bank advices are checked daily.
Establishing control mechanisms for bank advices and interest calculations.
Performing year-end interest reconciliation for both companies.
Ensuring timely documentation submission to Accounts Department.
Establishing and implementing MIS systems for both companies.
Preparing annual budgets, forecasts and demand plans.
Conducting weekly departmental reviews (ageing, distributor analysis, defaults, recoveries, CIB correspondence).
Generating and distributing management reports timely.
Monthly budgeting and guidelines for sales promotion.
Performing periodic data analysis.
Preparing monthly/seasonal scheme letters.
Tracking purchases, sales and inventory.
Preparing and finalizing sales promotion payout sheets monthly.
Planning the internal audit process for assigned companies and getting approval from the Director.
Implementing audit plans focusing on internal control checks.
Performing vouching, verification and audit procedures.
Coordinating with department heads and reporting responses to Finance Manager, Directors and Chairman.
Conducting inventory audits (valuation, existence, costing, cutoff).
Carrying out procurement audits including independent price verification.
Reviewing HR planning, employee payout systems, incentive structures and reporting accordingly.
Ensuring strong internal control over documentation such as invoices, LC papers and BG documents.
