Job Summary

A Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that assigned areas are clean, sanitary, organized, and well-maintained. They perform routine cleaning tasks, replenish supplies, and help create a safe and comfortable environment for guests, residents, or employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.

• Change bed linens and make beds.

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

• Replenish toiletries, towels, and other supplies.

• Report maintenance issues or damaged items to supervisors.

• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

• Respond promptly to guest or client requests when required.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
