📋 About This Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Site Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities at our project site in Jhapa. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling site expenses, monitoring payments and supporting the overall finance and accounting functions of the project.

📝 Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting and financial transactions at the project site.

Maintain cash book, ledger, vouchers, invoices and supporting documents.

Handle petty cash and site-level expenses and ensure proper documentation.

Prepare and verify payment vouchers, bills, invoices and expense claims.

Monitor site expenses against approved budgets and report significant variances.

Maintain records of supplier, contractor and vendor payments.

Coordinate with the central/head office regarding accounting, payments and financial reporting.

Assist in bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

Maintain proper records of advances, settlements and outstanding payments.

Verify bills related to materials, labour, transportation, subcontractors and other project expenses.

Support monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.

Ensure proper filing and maintenance of all financial documents for audit and compliance purposes.

Assist in VAT, TDS and other applicable tax documentation.

Coordinate with project/site management and procurement teams for financial and documentation requirements.

Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
