Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures

Organize and participate in weekly, monthly team meetings

Creation of attendance spread-sheets, recording and reporting of progressive weekly student attendance

Write and email attendance warning letters to students and keep records of such correspondence

Contacting students via phone and email

Administer the day-to-day operations of the RTO

Read all communication to stay up to date with current college related matters

Assist the Academic Manager to report failure to meet requirements as needed.

Ensure all students are provided with up to date information about accessing support services and contacting you during their course orientation.

Ensure all student enquiries are handled efficiently and with respect to the student and situation

Enter student Course Progress and Attendance information into the database

Assist the Student Services Manager in the identification and notification of Students with low attendance and low course progress

Ensure Student Notice Boards are kept up to date with the latest information e.g. Policies and Procedures, notices, job postings etc.

Provide students with documentation in line with the Institute’s policies and procedures

Administer and provide advice to Students regarding deferment, suspension and cancellation in line with the Institute’s deferment, suspension and cancellation policy

Manage the complaints and appeals that relate to academic matters according to policy and procedure

Manage and maintain the policy and procedures documentation relating to academic matters

Actively participate in continuous improvement activities

Maintain and develop VET and CRICOS knowledge and skills at a level required for a Director of Studies of an RTO and CRICOS College operating in business and accounting

Assist the Academic Manager and Student Services Manager to report timely information on the three quality indicators of the VET Quality Framework including the Standards for RTOs, as well as the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code 2018

Respond to critical incidents according to the Critical Incident Policy and Procedure.

Requirements / Specification

Minimum 1-year experience in the Education Consultancy field.

Should know Office 365, Proficiency in Excel and SharePoint

Proven ability to make complex and time-sensitive decisions in the best interests of the organization.

Strategic thinker who possesses solid business acumen and can organize and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Relevant RTO and VET knowledge and experience

Capacity to contribute to business planning with management

Proactive customer service skills and the capacity to resolve student and staff problems

Ability to build rapport and develop strong team relationships

Should have a pleasing and calm personality to be able to work under pressure

Should have good typing skills in English and Nepali when necessary

Must have an excellent command of oral and written English
