Job Summary

The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.

• Check customer satisfaction during and after service.

• Handle customer requests, questions, and complaints courteously.

• Prepare and maintain tables, dining areas, and service stations.

• Ensure proper table settings, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.

• Process or coordinate customer bills and payments as required.

• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, cashier, and other service staff.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties.

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment is preferred.
