Women Forum for Women in Nepal (WOFOWON), established in 2008 (2064 B.S.), is Nepal’s first worker-led, non-profit organization advocating for the rights of women workers in the informal, entertainment, and hospitality sectors, including dance bars, dohori venues, spa/massage parlors, cabin restaurants, and local eateries.
With a feminist approach, WOFOWON organizes women workers, amplifies their collective voices, and strengthens the feminist labor movement to promote their human and labor rights.
To strengthen our initiatives and advance our campaign for social justice and labor rights, WOFOWON invites applications from dedicated and qualified professionals for the following position(s):

Admin & Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting, financial records, petty cash and bank transactions.
Prepare budgets, financial reports, forecasts and expenditure monitoring.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, tax and other applicable regulations.
Maintain accounting, procurement, inventory and administrative records.
Support payroll, procurement, logistics and general office administration.
Coordinate audit processes and maintain proper supporting documents.
Provide financial and administrative support to program teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an NGO/INGO.
Knowledge of Nepalese taxation, TDS, financial compliance and donor-funded projects.
Experience with Tally/FAMAS or similar accounting software and strong MS Excel skills.
Good communication skills in Nepali and English.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Gender sensitivity and commitment to women’s rights, social justice and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
Support planning, implementation and coordination of WOFOWON’s programs and projects.
Coordinate trainings, workshops, campaigns, consultations and community activities.
Work closely with women workers, community groups, networks and partner organizations.
Support advocacy initiatives related to women’s rights, labor rights, gender equality and social justice.
Monitor program activities, collect information and prepare regular reports and documentation.
Support proposal writing, concept notes, budgets and donor reporting.
Maintain coordination with government, civil society organizations, networks and other stakeholders.
Support research, documentation, communication and translation in Nepali and English.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Gender Studies, Sociology, Law, Human Rights or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in program/project management, women’s rights, labor rights, human rights or community development.
Good understanding of gender equality, women’s rights and social justice.
Knowledge of Nepal’s Labor Act and Social Security Act is an advantage.
Strong communication, facilitation, report-writing and coordination skills.
Good computer skills and willingness to travel for field activities.
Commitment to feminist values, inclusion and working respectfully with marginalized communities.
