Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Cook to prepare high-quality food according to recipes, hygiene standards, and customer requirements. The Cook will ensure timely food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to approved recipes and standards.

• Ensure proper taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes.

• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, peeling, and measuring.

• Maintain proper food storage and temperature controls.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.

• Monitor food inventory and inform the supervisor about shortages.

• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.

• Coordinate with waiters and other kitchen staff for timely service.

• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.

• Follow kitchen schedules and daily preparation requirements.

• Assist with menu preparation and new food items when required.

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.

• Follow health and workplace safety regulations.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Required Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Staff is preferred.

• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
