Job Summary

Hamro Local Mart is hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for our retail and trading operations. This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of experience who can maintain accurate books, process payables/receivables, and support tax-compliant reporting. You will help ensure reliable financial records for timely decisions and audits.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily sales, purchases, and other financial transactions using vouchers and supporting documents.

Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure accounts are accurately posted, balanced, and reconciled.

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) by verifying invoices, processing payments, and tracking outstanding dues.

Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) by issuing invoices, monitoring collections, and reconciling customer/vendor balances.

Prepare and support monthly closing activities, including trial balance preparation and variance checks.

Reconcile bank statements, cash records, and key ledger accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Prepare tax-related computations and support filing activities by maintaining required records and documentation.
