We are urgently looking for a skilled Backend & Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Python backend development, REST APIs, AWS deployment, databases, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be capable of building scalable backend systems and managing reliable production environments.

9 AM -6 PM (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.

Build and optimize asynchronous REST APIs.

Integrate internal and third-party services, including AI APIs.

Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, queries, schemas, and migrations.

Work with Redis for caching and performance optimization.

Deploy and manage applications on AWS and other cloud platforms.

Manage Kubernetes environments, manifests, containers, and production troubleshooting.

Provision cloud infrastructure using Pulumi, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.

Implement secure authentication, authorization, configuration, and secret management.

Monitor and troubleshoot backend and infrastructure performance.

Develop background jobs, scheduled processes, and automation.

Perform API performance and load testing.

Write automated tests and maintain clean, production-ready code.

Participate in code reviews and improve engineering best practices.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in backend, cloud, platform, or software engineering.

Strong proficiency in Python.

Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API development.

Strong experience with PostgreSQL.

Practical experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.

Experience with Kubernetes, including deployment and troubleshooting.

Experience with infrastructure automation using Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and backend architecture.

Experience working with production cloud environments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML API integrations.

Experience with distributed or high-performance backend systems.

Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of DevOps, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with ClickHouse or analytical databases.
