JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT- NEAR NEW ROAD

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.

Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.

Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.

Support the preparation of tax and statutory documentation.

Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as required.

Assist with payroll-related accounting activities when required.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by the supervisor.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.

0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates may also be considered.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good numerical and analytical skills.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Knowledge of applicable tax and statutory requirements.

Part-qualified CA/ACCA or currently pursuing professional accounting qualifications.
