Job Summary

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, processing payments, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial policies, and statutory requirements. The position supports effective financial planning, control, and decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Accounting: Record daily transactions, process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle petty cash.

• Bank & Account Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements regularly, track deposits and payments, and resolve un-reconciled items.

• Reporting & Cash Flow: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss reports, and cash flow projections.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in drafting annual budgets, monitor actual expenditures against budgets, and perform variance analysis.

• Payroll Administration: Process monthly staff payroll, handle employee benefits or tax withholdings, and manage travel expense settlements.

• Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to financial laws, corporate policies, and tax regulations while preparing documentation for internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline will be an advantage.

• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or similar certifications are preferred.
