Accountant

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our Travel Agency on a full-time, office-based position.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and practical experience using Bonfire Accounting Software.

Candidate Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily accounting records and financial transactions.

Manage accounts using Bonfire Accounting Software and ensure all entries are properly recorded.

Handle daily cash, bank, income, expenses, sales, purchases, and payment transactions.

Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.

Perform regular bank reconciliation and maintain accurate cash and bank records.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding payments.

Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.

Maintain proper records related to VAT, Tax, and TDS and assist with tax-related documentation.

Use MS Excel for accounting reports, data analysis, and financial record management.

Ensure all accounting records are accurate, organized, and maintained confidentially.

Coordinate with management and other departments regarding financial and accounting matters.

Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management

Candidate Requirements

Proficient in Bonfire Accounting Software.

Skilled in MS Excel and computer applications.

Knowledgeable in bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

Familiar with VAT, Tax, and TDS.

Accurate, organized, honest, and detail-oriented.

Able to work independently as well as within a team.

Good at communication, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Available to work full-time from the office.

Previous accounting experience in a Travel Agency or similar business will be an advantage.
