JOB MISSION:

The primary purpose of the Account and Supply Clerk is to maintain and update account of Accommodation Supply Unit (ASU) Stores and also be responsible for the smooth running of ASU Inventory Software in conjunction with the Head of Department (HD). She/he is to assist the HD ASU to monitor stock level of ASU Stores.

KEY OUTCOMES:

  • Regular monitoring of stock level of all Defence accommodation Stores (DAS) items to maintain an Authorised Stock Level (ASL). Advise HD ASU on stock status as necessary.
  • Prepare Issue and Receipt Voucher for inventory and update ASU Inventory Database.
  • Maintain and update Inventory book for Service Family Accommodation (SFA) and Units in line with MoD and local regulation.
  • Maintain and Update manual Demand Books and record of demand progression.
  • Prepare 4 yearly stocktaking programmes for HD ASU and ensure that weekly Stock checks from Duty officer are conducted.
  • Inspect empty SFA regularly and where necessary arrange for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ensure smooth running of ASU store, manage the daily routine of the ASU store including supervising the storekeeper and laborers.
  • Act as Health and Safety supervisor and First Aider for ASU. Ensure that Health and Safety folder and all data-sheet of ‘Control of Substance Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) items are up to date.
  • Maintain and update leave register of ASU staffs and process ASU OT and Time off in lieu if any.
  • Assist HD ASU to conduct move-in/out as required.
  • Assume the responsibilities of HD ASU during periods of his/her absence.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Qualification & Training:

  1. Stores accounting qualification and training
  2. Competence using Microsoft Office package.

2.Experience:

  1. Knowledge of Store accounting
  2. Ability to evaluate and analysis numerical data
  3. Basic knowledge of database concept

BENEFITS : 

Salary: NPR 51,344/month  – Grade E2

Other benefits: Dashain Bonus, Gratuity and  Provident Fund

Duty Hours: 37hours a week – Full Time

Leave: Annual 25 days, Public Holidays 10 days

Medical: 100% reimbursement for Job Holder and limited reimbursement for immediate dependent
