ADRA serves in more than 130 countries to bring long-term development programs and immediate emergency response to communities through a network of global offices. Since 1987 ADRA Nepal has operated portfolios in the Health, Economic Development and Livelihood, Education, and Disaster Risk Management sectors.
ADRA Nepal has received funding from Swiss Solidarity to implement a six-month project entitled “Livelihood and Economic Recovery of Corona Crisis Affected Families (LERC)”. The project aims to help households to absorb and recover from food security and livelihood shocks and stresses caused by COVID-19 pandemic. The project will have two components- COVID-19 emergency support to meet immediate need and livelihood input transfer to recover/maintain livelihood options.
Position: Project Coordinator (Kathmandu based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in development studies or disaster management related field with minimum 3 years of experience in humanitarian project cycle management. Experience on Cash transfer and vouchers system will be value added. Prior similar experience as Project Coordinator/Manager is highly desirable.
Position: Emergency Cash/Input Transfer Specialist (Kathmandu based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in development studies, Finance, or related field with minimum 3 years of experience in delivering cash transfer programs and vouchers especially in emergency response and recovery program.
JD_Emergency Cash/Input Transfer Specialist (LERC)
Position: Gender and Safeguarding Officer (Kathmandu based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, Rural Development, Gender Studies, Development Studies or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of similar experience development projects.
- Experience as GESI Officer in humanitarian and cash transfer/voucher projects is highly desirable.
