1. Required minimum qualification:
- Nepali citizen
- SEE/SLC passed or equivalent
- Age: 18 to 23 years. 18 to 40 years for current or retired employee of security agency.
2. Required documents:
- Photocopy of Nepali citizenship
- Photocopy of academic qualification certificate
- Certificate of good health from recognized health organization
- Character certificate verified from Area or Ward Police Office
3. Basic condition:
- For male: Height 5 feet 3 inch, Chest 31-33 inch, Weight 50kg and For female: Height 5 feet and weight 42 kg
- Eyesight: Should not be weak than -2 or +2
- Should not be punished with any criminal indictment showing moral decay
