MERCY CORPS OVERVIEW

Mercy Corps is an international, non-governmental humanitarian and development agency that exists to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive, and just communities. Mercy Corps works in 40 countries, and has been present in Nepal since 2005. Mercy Corps’ current work in Nepal focuses on agriculture, food security, disaster risk reduction and climate change, access to finance, and youth engagement.

Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance:

The Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance is a consortium of ten organizations from the public and private sectors with a shared vision that floods have no impact on people’s ability to thrive.  Mercy Corps leads Influence and Advocacy Workstream of the Alliance to influence government actors to improve national and sub-national policies leading to improved practice and investment for flood resilience.

Through this RFP, Mercy Corps Nepal would like to seek the consultancy service for following activity:

1.Consultancy service for Conducting Baseline Assessment on Investment for Flood Resilience (including Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation)

Firms/Individuals interested in this consultancy should submit their proposal along with the CV of proposed consultant, copies of company registration, tax registration and latest tax clearance certificates (applicable only for firms) to [email protected] no later than 24th January, 2019 COB. The incomplete bid documents or bid documents received after closing date will not be considered.
