Project Assistant Intern
About the Role
The Project Support Intern will assist the Project Consultant and team with support for community sessions and related activities. This is a learning-focused opportunity for students interested in LGBTIQ+ rights, mental health, advocacy, or community development.
Key Responsibilities
Help prepare materials and logistics for sessions on LGBTQI+ legal rights, mental health support, crisis response, and community advocacy
Assist with note-taking, simple documentation, and feedback collection (while maintaining strict confidentiality)
Support coordination and basic administrative tasks related to the project
Contribute to creating accessible resources under guidance from the team
Who We’re Looking For
Students currently pursuing a final year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred)
Genuine interest in LGBTQI+ rights, gender equality, and social justice
Willingness to learn about trauma-informed and do-no-harm approaches
Good communication skills, reliability, and respect for confidentiality
Prior volunteer or campus experience in related areas is a plus but not required
