Role Description This is a full-time, on-site German Language Instructor role based in Kathmandu. The instructor will conduct interactive German language classes for learners at various proficiency levels, using effective teaching methodologies and materials aligned with standardized curricula. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The role also involves preparing students for language proficiency exams, collaborating with counseling and academic staff to support study abroad goals, and participating in training or workshops to continuously enhance teaching quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong German Language Teaching and general Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners at different levels.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education-related skills to design structured, learner-centered instructional materials and activities.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of German Literature and cultural aspects to enrich language learning and contextual understanding.
• Proficiency in German (spoken and written), preferably at B2 level or above; relevant language teaching certification (e.g., Goethe-Institut or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience teaching German in classroom or institutional settings.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an inclusive, learner-focused teaching approach.
• Ability to use basic digital tools for teaching and learning, and to work collaboratively with academic and counseling teams.
