ADRA works in more than 135 countries around the world and is working in Nepal since 1987 with its Health interventions, Economic Development and Livelihood, Education, and Disaster Risk Management activities. Currently ADRA is implementing family planning program with support from UNFPA/DFID (2017 – 2020). The goal of the project is to contribute to improving maternal health through increased uptake of FP services and strengthening health system. To contribute to the project, ADRA invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions;
Monitoring & Evaluation and Research Officer (Kathmandu based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
Bachelor’s in public health, Biostatistics, Demography or equivalent (master’s Degree preferred), minimum 3 years of working experience in similar position, program Technical expertise and practical experience in research, monitoring, planning, and evaluation in ASRH and Family planning especially in I/NGOs or multi-donor agencies. Software skilled for research and data tracking, willingness to travel in remote areas of district.
Project Officer (Rautahat based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
Bachelor’s in public health or Nursing or equivalent, minimum 2-3 years of working experience in similar position ,managing donor-funded FP/ASRH program, a demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with provincial and local government staff and health volunteers at community level, good interpersonal communications skills, English and Nepali (knowledge of local language will be an asset) and willingness to travel in remote areas of district.
Project Officer (Microplanning and FP Integration), Kathmandu Based: One
Qualification and Competencies:
Bachelor’s in public health or Nursing or equivalent, minimum 3 years of working experience in similar position in managing donor funded FP/ASRH program, a demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with provincial and local government staffs, good interpersonal communications skills, English and Nepali (knowledge of local language will be an asset), ability to work as a team player, self-management skills.
Project officer (Logistic Management Information System (LMIS) Officer), Kathmandu Based: One
Qualification and Competencies:
Bachelor’s in public health or Pharmacy/social science or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred), minimum 3 years of working experience in similar position in LMIS, managing donor-funded logistic management program, experience in logistic management/commodities/supplies related capacity building and training, a demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with provincial and local government staffs,
