Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha ltd. (SKBBL), established on July 6, 2001, is a public limited company registered under company act 2006. The financial institution has received a license from Nepal Rastra Bank in accordance with Bank and Financial Institution Act 2017 as D class national level financial institution and working as major wholesale lending micro finance institution. This financial institution holds premise that the rate of poverty reduction can be accelerated by establishing strong, capable, autonomous and sustainable institutions at local level in a different approach than the existing practices of micro finance. The financial institution has been operating micro finance and social development programs through local capable institutions of small farmers and rural poor for their economic and social development.
SKBBL Provides Wholesale credit and technical support services to Small Farmers Cooperatives (SFACL’s) and other Microfinance Institutions (MFIs). It provides various development programs to ensure access to microfinance services for the poor and small farmers across the country.
