Contract: National volunteering contract
Location: Tinkune, Kathmandu
Once trained on the LP4Y pedagogy and the use of our tools, you will take part in coaching a team of 17 Young Adults, developing your skills in the following areas:
-Organization and management (project management): Coordinate the development of the team (human resources, organization, activities, pedagogy, partnership, finances and accountancy, etc.) with the help of the coordination team.
-Pedagogy and accompanying the Young Adults (training and cross management): Develop your team to welcome 17 excluded out of school Youth with no opportunities to find a job. Act as a mirror: you will help them see their Talents and gain confidence. Support the Youth about employability soft and hard skills: professional behavior, self confidence, team management and business development, English communication (written and oral), computer (MS office, drive, email, …). Provide the necessary conditions for the Youth to work on their personal development and prepare their professional and social inclusion.
-Development of a micro economic activity (social entrepreneurship): You will create, manage and supervise an advocacy activity impacting the community around the Training and Development Center (TDC). You’ll support and accompany the Youth in the development of this activity and make them experience the different aspects of entrepreneurship: creation, management, sustainability, etc.
-Development of local partnerships (communication and strategy): You will develop and maintain the partners’ network around the project: mobilize companies, NGOs, hard skill trainers, technical experts…
- We are looking for candidates with professional business experience, who are open, dynamic, passionate about development, entrepreneurship, and seeking opportunities to develop their character and skills. Fluent English is required.
