Life Project 4 Youth Alliance is a federation of 19 organizations in 14 countries whose mission is the development of innovative solutions for the professional and social inclusion of Young people (15-24 yo) from extreme poverty and victims of exclusion. LP4Y supports the decent inclusion of thousands of Young people and their families in 41 programs, 20 Life Project Centers, 4 Little Angel Academies, 3 Green Villages, 4 Youth hostels, 2 LP4Y Labs in South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Europe and America
COUNTRY COORDINATOR SUPPORT
Possible location: Kathmandu, Nepal
MISSION
The Country Coordinator support is:
- Supporting the Country Coordinator for the institutional development of LP4Y projects across Nepal following the fixed plan with the Nepal Country Coordinator & Asia Coordinator
- The Country coordinator Assistant of LP4Y Nepal is in collaboration with accounting firms and lawyers under contract with LP4Y. He/she coordinates the eventual consultants selected for certification projects,
- He/she follows the alignment of the Training Development Center according to fixed plans of progress,
- The Country Coordinator Assistant accompanies and supports the Nepal Country Coordinator in the development of LP4Y activities in Nepal. Thanks to this mission, the four pillars of LP4Y are supported:
– Organization & Management – Administrative and accountancy tasks
– Partnerships – Developing the ecosystem of integration
-Coaching & Pedagogy – Supporting the Coaches with tools and advice
-Micro Economic Initiatives – Supporting the micro-activities developed by the Youth in the Training & Development Center
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 24 years old
- Fluent in local language and well command in English (compulsory)
- Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated
- Familiar with MS office (word, excel, drive, email…)
- Professional behavior
- Ability to work in a team (team spirit) especially with intercultural members
- Motivated and proactive profile who like challenges, volunteer spirit
- Ready to learn and grow
Benefits:
- Final pay will be paid through check/bank transfer on the 25th of each month.
- The volunteer’s expenses, if he/she needs to travel as and when required for Project Purpose will be taken in charge by LP4Y
- In order to fully experience the community life with the other team members, housing and basic food will be provided
Working Schedule:
- Working time: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Rest time: Saturday and Sunday
- Holidays: 2 days / month + 8 days bank holidays
